StorePlan reads your floor plan, runs corridors to the exits and fills the space with storage units and doors. You get the schedule, the take-off and a DXF in the time it takes to open the drawing.
The layout redraws as you change a rule, so you can try a deeper row or a different unit mix and see what it does to the numbers straight away.
Drop in the survey. Put a closed outline on a layer called STORAGE AREA and StorePlan picks up the floor area and any voids, such as a lift or stair core, by itself.
Click each fire exit and each door into another space. Corridors are run to all of them. Escape routes are measured to the fire exits only.
Corridor width, target unit depth, the unit mix you want and the door for each size. Rows are sized to fill the building wall to wall.
Take the layout back into CAD inside your original drawing, on its own layers, with the unit schedule and take-off as a spreadsheet.
Everything is counted from the same layout, so the drawing, the schedule and the quantities always agree.
Every unit numbered, with its size class, actual area, frontage, depth and door.
The quantities a partitioning quote starts from, updated with every change.
The route from the far corner of each unit to its nearest fire exit, measured along the corridors.
The DXF is drawn to size in your survey's own coordinates and units. Walls are 30 mm outlines. Each door has a 30 mm frame at both jambs, and swing doors stand part open with their arc.
Choose the layout by itself, or the layout added to your original drawing with every existing layer left as it was.
StorePlan runs in your browser. The DXF is read on your own machine and is not uploaded anywhere, so a client's survey never leaves your hands.
